The history
Who we are
The Grindcore Family (TGF) is a non-profit, DIY collective dedicated to spreading fast and extreme underground music.
Our main focus is to give underground, non-commercial and DIY bands the opportunity to play in Scandinavia — especially bands that might otherwise never get the chance to come here.
We support grindcore, fastcore, powerviolence, crust and other forms of fast, raw and uncompromising music. TGF organizes concerts and The Grindcore Family Weekend, bringing together bands and people from different countries through a shared love of the underground.
For us, it is not about big names, commercial success or following trends. It is about giving bands a stage, helping new music cross borders, keeping the DIY spirit alive and building connections between people in the underground scene.
Fast music. DIY spirit. No borders.
Cooperation & solidarity
TGF works in cooperation with Wargame Records.
TGF supports Moses, the Pangolin Man, and his incredible work to save pangolins.

What matters to us
Independent organising, direct communication and shared responsibility.
The money goes into the concerts, the bands and keeping the events possible.
Respect for bands, volunteers, guests and the spaces that make underground culture possible.
